No option to add a picture to a road under reconstruction

Hello!

Today I was driving and noticed that part of a boulevard /Nikola Vaptsarov Blvd. - the exact part / in Plovdiv city is under construction.

I took a picture of the machines working and wanted to upload it to the road to show that this part of the boulevard is closed.

When trying to upload it - there is not option to attach picture - as an evidence.

So Google rejected my suggest.

I think picture attaching in this case is crucial.

Yes, @deepakjhic , indeed

but only the part of the road that is under construction. Not the whole boulevard.

Your question is two fold:

Adding photos to roads is generally not possible (= Google does not want us to add photos to roads).

Closing a road temporarily is possible. See https://support.google.com/maps/answer/10271004

You can close a road due to construction. You can select a segment or an entire road (at least in the Android version of Google Maps).

Thanks, @BorislavA , I definitely agree with you, adding a photo as “evidence” of the reason of the road closure, by attaching the photo on the report can be very useful.

Actually this is not possible, so my suggestion for you is to write this in Idea exchange using the label “Google Maps”.

In this way your suggestion will be escalated to the team.

Unfortunately many times it is not possible to apply an idea immediately, but for sure they will keep this in mind for future improvement.

The first thing is that you need to report it via Maps app. Find the below link of reporting road errors,
