I am a level 7 local guide. I haven’t received any pair of local Guides Perks?

My friend is at level 6 and he received socks ???

Please solve…

Your frustration is understandable.
However, please note:

  1. The perks are discretionary.
  2. Consistent contributions week after week become conducive for increasing the chances of getting the offer for the perks.

Along with that, also please ensure that you have opted for getting notifications about perks through the settings at https://maps.google.com/localguides/home/settings

Additionally, ensure that you have marked maps.google.com as a safe sender. Else, the email announcing the perks may land in the trash folder.

Please note that all the Local Guides are not getting perks. Time to time Google sends some perks to few Local Guides depending on the contribution and the quality of the contribution.

To get the mail for the perks you need to enable your email preference, following this link: https://maps.google.com/localguides/home/settings
