Today I will be sharing one of my fav recipe of masala chholey- no onion no garlic.
Made in pure ghee, this dish tastes so delicious. Do try it and let me know
Ingredients-
1.5 cup White Kabuli Chana (chickpeas)
2-3 tbsp desi ghee
1 tsp dry pomegranate seeds
1 tsp jeera powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp haldi
1 tsp amchur
1 tsp dhania powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp choley masala
Salt, to taste Method
Pressure cook Kabuli Chana in cooker.Close the lid and pressure cook till 6-7 whistles.Off the flame when done.
Make a mixture of these masala in a bowl- dry pomegranate seeds, amchur, haldi, garam masala, choley masala, dhania powder, jeera powder, red chilli powder,and salt.
In a pan, heat desi ghee. Add jeera, and masala mixture.
Stir the masalas. Roast for 2 minutes.
Add boiled chole and mix it with gravy.
Let it cook for few minutes till thick gravy formed.
Serve hot with masala kulche.
