No garlic no onion chholey

Today I will be sharing one of my fav recipe of masala chholey- no onion no garlic. :two_hearts:
Made in pure ghee, this dish tastes so delicious. Do try it and let me know :heart_eyes:
:spoon: Ingredients-
1.5 cup White Kabuli Chana (chickpeas)
2-3 tbsp desi ghee
1 tsp dry pomegranate seeds
1 tsp jeera powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp haldi
1 tsp amchur
1 tsp dhania powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp choley masala
Salt, to taste :spoon: Method
Pressure cook Kabuli Chana in cooker.Close the lid and pressure cook till 6-7 whistles.Off the flame when done.

Make a mixture of these masala in a bowl- dry pomegranate seeds, amchur, haldi, garam masala, choley masala, dhania powder, jeera powder, red chilli powder,and salt.

In a pan, heat desi ghee. Add jeera, and masala mixture.

Stir the masalas. Roast for 2 minutes.

Add boiled chole and mix it with gravy.

Let it cook for few minutes till thick gravy formed.
Serve hot with masala kulche. :plate_with_cutlery:

Thank you for sharing this photo and the recipe with us, the meal looks very delicious!

I am a huge Indian cuisine lover and some of my all time favorite dishes are Chicken Korma and Chicken Curry.

I would like to try your recipe, but I’m afraid that I won’t find all these ingredients as some of them are very specific. Is amchur a mix of spices?

Hello Borris. Indian food is full of spices. Amchur is dried mango powder. Please let me know which all spices are readily available in your area, will modify the recipe for you
