Childhood always creates memories which stay throughout our life in our hearts. Such is with friends. Everyone has a childhood friend who stays for a long time in life. The same has happened to me. I Tejal and my friend Chaula Thakor (now Solanki) are very good friends from childhood.
After completing our 10th std we selected different streams for further studies and we continued with that after 15 years somewhow we managed to get in contact again with the use of social media and we started talking with each other and recollected over time. I told her about my work as a Local Guide and she was happy with my contribution to the society. Chaula being a follower of Mahatma Gandhi believes in “Be the change you wish to bring to the world”

Chaula is the president of a organization which operates in her locality currently. We all must have heard about the Devnar Dumping Fire 2015 The location is near her locality. The dumping area causes lot’s of air pollution the people there are suffering from many kinds of diseases and they cannot keep their windows and doors open to breathe the air around their area.
Chaula then thought that why should we send too much garbage to the dumping ground? Why cant we implement the 3R’s theory and she started this initiative.
We have decided that we will do one event together. Currently she resides in restricted area so I can’t organize any event or meet up but as soon as possible we will plan a event together.
To initiate and sustain momentum for bringing positive changes in society, leading to improved life today and to ensure a better tomorrow for future generations

To take initiatives and work towards making Residential Area ‘Zero Waste Township’ by:
Creating awareness among Residents about Waste Management and its importance for better tomorrow and healthier life.
Taking initiatives and motivating for contributing to nation building through participation in Swachh Bharat Mission.
Promoting fundamental principles of Waste Management - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
Promoting use of eco-friendly products and lifestyle.
STRATEGIES
To be a forum to collectively work towards skill development for waste management whereby promoting environmental, social and cultural values.
