You’ve arranged your metting but you’ll be on that place for the first time. You arrive at the location just to find that it was actually somewhere else! This happened to me twice! And in the second one, as it was not enough for the place to be missing, the girl I was supposed to meet also stood me up!
I have no control over you getting stood up by someone but in my region, I’ll try my best to make sure that the place you see on Google Maps is actually there!
I usually provide comments, rating, high-res photos of places I visit but most importantly, I update the location information for accuracy. A place was moved but the old one is still on the map? No problem! I’ll file it for deletion. Same place created twice with close to each other locations? Nema problema! I’ll find the wrong one and submit it for review.
Here is a good example of it. “Yirmibir Ocakbaşı” is a misplacement! But it comes up first on a maps search. At first, I thought it was the only entry for the actual place. But turns out to be that it’s a duplicate of “Yirmibir Kebap”.
