no blue circles from my 360 photo sphere

Since December 17 2023 I have uploaded a lot of photo spheres/360, but to this day no blue circles/photospheres appear on Google Maps, does anyone know why it is like that?

nb:

  • I include each photo with location coordinates (meta).

I think Google had reduced the visibility over time to give priority to Streetview created from video rather than loose hanging 360 spheres.

Today users will need to turn on the streetview layer to see the blue circles as shown below:

I understand that this is not what many streetview photographers want or expected. The counter argument is that Maps is increasingly getting crowded with information and something has to go if the goal is a less messy look.

Maybe @potaro67 can give you a better answer.

All the best

Hi @FebriAsmara

In addition to the reply by @MortenCopenhagen , I would like to remind you that Street View is no longer supported in Local Guides Connect. You should check of there is an issue about this subject on the Street View trusted Help Center, accessible to Trusted Photographers only. Should you be not able to access the new Street View trusted Help Center, please let us know, and we will tag a Google Moderator for granting the access to your profile.

In addition I would like to remind you that promoting your business, as clearly visible in your name and in your profile, is against the Local Guides Program Terms and Conditions : “Organizations, brands, and businesses are not eligible for the Program . If you offer services for hire (such as marketing yourself as a Street View trusted provider), you are not allowed to bundle such services with your Local Guide membership.

You should separate your Local Guides account from your business account, and leave the Local Guides program with this account.

Thank you

I saw your pano.
It looks like your panos are all pasted to the (same) coordinates of the Taman Expressi Dan Purpastakarn POI.

I believe you can see all the photos you upload in the Street View Photos tab linked above.

Currently (or for as long as I’m aware), all photos uploaded using Google Maps’ Add Photo (Add Media) feature are located to the POIs coordinates (rather than EXIF coordinates).
A third-party product such as GoThru is required to perform photo coordinate correction.

However, there is a way to use Google Maps to upload a photo to the coordinates listed in Pano’s EXIF.
Read the article below and experiment with this at your own risk.

@MortenCopenhagen , thank you for inviting me here.
