Hello,
I am Tejas Kisan ghag from Roha, India.
Here in India, In the Konkan region which is most famous world wide for tourism of natural beauty.
On Wednesday 3 June 2020, The Raigad district which is besides the main Mumbai City. The ‘Nisarga Cyclone’ hit the district with the wind speed of 120 - 150 km/hr and destroyed all the trees, road connectivities, mobile networks, and other basic amenities which must be got the people in this COVID-19 lockdown.
Due to this double attack of COVID-19 and cyclone the condition of not only Villages but also cities are going worst.
Though local government bodies and some of the NGOs are helping people to readjust there lives after this dengerous cyclone. As all the roads were completely blocked due to fallen trees there is no road connectivity to supply emergency services to the people who lose there shelters.
Though the Maharashtra government quickly took action and clear up all the roads, still today nearly in 85% villages there is no electricity, as all the electricity polls and wires were smashed down by the cyclone. And people are in bad condition due to no electricity and phone charging leads to no communication. Only city reagions and industrial areas in District have provided with electricity.
On 4th June 2020 I visited some places in my region around Roha City and noticed the effects of cyclone. I have also clicked some pics some pics of effects of Nisarga Cyclone which I am giving below.
