Ninja museum in Iga-Ueno city

Ninja are popular among foreigners, and many tourists visit places where tools and materials related to Ninja are on display.

Ninja museums can be found in several areas, including Tokyo and Kyoto.
In this article, I will introduce the Ninja Museum in Iga-Ueno City, Mie Prefecture.

Iga is known as the birthplace of the ninja.
The photo shows a water spider, a tool of the ninja.

With it, the ninja could walk on water.
The method of making it is described in detail in an ancient document.

There is a ninja mansion here, where a female ninja, a so-called kunoichi, dressed in ninja costume, explains ninjutsu inside the mansion.
She is now talking about “Katagakushi,” or the concealment of swords, in which the ninja hide their swords under the floor.

There are many souvenirs related to ninja, and ninja shows are held every day.
