Hi @PiyushCp there is no right or wrong answer when selecting a camera. I would suggest that you should make a list of the features that you think you will need and mark them “must” or “should” then compare the available cameras to what you need and knock out any that don’t meet your musts and score the remaining cameras based on how well it supports your needs.
As rightly stated by @PaulPavlinovich, you need to make a choice yourself.
I am confident you must have studied the comparison of specifications.
Beyond that, when faced with such a dilemma, one can gain some clues through the end-user reviews. Plenty of that is available online.
The reviews can also throw some more light on technological novelty, R&M performance & likely obsolescence.
Hi @PiyushCp I recently had this problem myself. The final was that I bought the D750 and I’m very happy. I also read and listened a lot. Z7 very nice, comfortable and handy camera if you travel a lot. But lenses and other gadgets are expensive for him. And buy only the latest model if you decide on it. As for D850. I thought about it myself. The only drawback that bothered me was the size of the megapixels which is related to the amount of disk space on your computer. I take pictures at weddings and these pictures are a lot, so it’s important to me. Because the camera itself is really great and the quality of the photos really high. Good luck in choosing and let me know what decision was made. Best wishes.
Just buy either, if you think it was a bad decision then sell the body on ebay and start over.
There are a lot of lenses for the D850 that you can buy on ebay instead of having to by the new cutting edge mirror less lenses. You can still use the newer internal motor models that work on the mirrored models i.e. D850 but can’t go the other way. I’d say start with a good used D850 and a nice new lens that can go both ways. Folks that feel they have to jump and have the most recent shiny thing are giving great equipment to make the jump and you can take advantage of the opportunity.
@PaulPavlinovich that was a very nice suggestion. I will use this strategy and I think not just for this purpose I can use this method for buying something else too.
@Bruce_Ferjulian am not sure whether I would sell in e-bay after buying. I will think about the suggestion of using a used D850 and a good set of lens.
