Night Ride to Food Street @VV Puram

Night out @ food street! Sounds familiar??? <On a Tuesday night!!>

It is one of those foodilicious outings when you have midnight cravings and want to have something good to eat. Myself along with my 3 friends, had quick discussion about having something good to eat at around midnight on a Tuesday. We jumped into our warm clothes and got ready to face a cool Bangalore night. 2 bikes was all we needed at that time. But wait!! No destination was decided to go to :stuck_out_tongue: (happens with us often, which makes it more exciting for us). On the way we stopped and discussed and discussed and reached a conclusion to go to VV Puram food street, which one of us had visited in the past. We rode along the windy ring road and through the Silk Board junction, which did not fail to live up to its reputation of having at least 5 minutes traffic light stoppage, even at 12 midnight. We reached VV Puram food street with the help of Google Maps navigation without any trouble whatsoever. Had like 5-6 delicacies (Chinese Samosa, Steamed Momos, Rumali Roti, Potato Crisper, Pan, etc.) before the shops started closing out. It is a good eating place for such instant outings. The return was pretty smooth as the traffic had finally started fading out. It was colder than before and our bodies were almost freezing which added to the excitement.

That’s how most of our nights at Bangalore go… Will share other stories soon…

@wanderingsoulsugam wow, so much fun! In spite of being in Bangalore all my life, I have never been to VV Puram! I guess I have to go there soon!

Also, why not edit your original post to include some photos of what you ate? Perhaps it will motivate others to make a visit!

Cheers!

Added now. Thanks @vvbellur for reminding me, I wanted to put up these images earlier but somehow forgot.

Glad you liked the post.

Great @wanderingsoulsugam Thanks! Also, I reckon that this place is only vegetarian, correct?

I did find some good non-veg dishes also available. But, it is worth visiting the street, anyway
