In September 17th, an event called “Night Botanical Garden” was held from 18:00 to 21:00.
Mito Botanical Park is usually open only during the day, but several times a year it opens at night.
The large greenhouse and the tropical fruit greenhouse were illuminated with lights and the inside of the greenhouse was also lit up, and able to appreciate various plants.
In the lawn garden, umbrella balls using vinyl umbrellas were placed on the grass, and they changed to various colors under the lighting, creating a magical atmosphere.

Really love the shots of the illuminated umbrella balls and tropical fruit greenhouse - I’m a huge fan of botanical gardens, especially when they offer an evening experience or holiday-related experiences. Seems like I’ve got to have Mito in my future Japan itenerary @preceramic !

Visiting the botanical garden and admiring the plants will heal your mind and body, but I felt special when it was open at night, so I visited for nightscape photography.
