Hello my local guid connect, it is a big one for me to be a part of a global brand such as Google. Google controls the world, And for that reason I strongly suggest that there should be some reward system for diehard loyal individuals at some level of there contributions reviews pictures This will encourage other young Google local guide people to come in plenty. A soft gift can encourage work harder.

There is a system in place for this already. It’s the random rewards that some people get. All of us local guides have all agreed upon entering that we are doing this voluntarily and that there are no set rewards in place.

The virtual rewards in the form of badges and views on both Maps and here on Connect seems to be doing the job pretty well in my opinion.
My motivation is the joy of knowing that I’m helping a lot of people and businesses. Also, making new friends here on Connect can be considered a great perk. I find it very rewarding being a Local Guide.
