This was one of the best attractions in Niagara, it was one of the first attractions that were on my bucket list.
Why?
Because when we arrived on the bus we saw that really cool track it looked something like a Mario Kart track, me and my friends looked at each other and we were thinking the same, with a big smile on our facesâŠLetâs do it!
Right after we checked- in the hotel we realized that the sunset was going to start so we decided to ride the Niagara Skywheel, at the top we could see all the track and it looked really fun.
There are 2 types of karts: solo and with a passenger seat.
Tickets:
$12 Adult
$4 Passenger
Tips for parents:
1.- Ask your kids if they really want to ride the karts, we saw some kids crying in the queue and they had to get out and some parents were giving away their kidÂŽs ticket.
2.- If your kid wants to ride the karts, they can be lucky and have a free ticket from parents in the previous step! haha
3.- If you are driving with your kid donât speed too much and drive on the right side of the lane, doing this you avoid getting bumped.
The race is five minutes long and there are 36 karts, if you donât hit the brakes and have a good strategy you can get up to 4 laps. Karts have a max speed of 32 km/hr. âŠyeah itâs not super fast but letâs keep in mind that is a family attraction so everybody can have fun, it is very important to avoid bumping.
You will get to the top of the track (12 meters tall) by driving through a spiral and once you have reached it you will start to descend on a ramp (that is the best part), I wish karts were faster but regardless of that its totally like real life Mario Kart experience (bananas not included).???
What is your favorite go kart track?
There is also a Game Zone next to the exit of the karts, I personally prefered to drive again.
