I am new to ThetaV. Can you help me to get started?

  1. What should be done afyer unbox?

  2. How to get the best out of it as connected Camera?

Hi @YK1001 ! Congratulations for your great gift! You really deserve it for your hard work as Connect Moderator!

I’m sorry, I don’t have a Ricoh Theta V, so I don’t have special suggestions for you!

Some standard info, you can use it directly from Street View App, but for difficult light conditions I reccomend to use the Ricoh application instead, to have more control of exposure.

You will find useful to create a “dish” to cover the nadir, expecially when you will use a tripod; this is highly reccomended.

You can buy a small tripod and add to the top a selfie stick; this will worked very good with Ricoh Theta S, and I think it will be the same with Theta V.
