Hi all,
The way roads appear on Google Maps has been changed and now it shows the whole length of the road instead of the central point of the road.
When we search for a specific road or select it from the search suggestions, or even if we click on a link to a specific road, all lengths of the road will be visible on the screen in a blue color like what we see when we use Directions.
I think this is a good change because it helps users know it is a feature of the map that Length is important for it. Moreover, it helps users see all parts of the road at a glance.
As I asked some other friends, they found this change useful. Currently, it is only available on the app but I hope we see this on the web version, too.
