📍 New Update Spotted: Exciting New Tools for Local Guides on Google Maps! ✨

:round_pushpin:Recently, while posting my review of Hungry Puppet Restaurant & Banquet, I stumbled upon some cool new features in the Google Maps review interface that I just had to share with the Connect community! :backhand_index_pointing_down:

These tools are turning reviews into full-on storytelling experiences - and I couldn’t wait to share them with my fellow Connect friends! :raising_hands:

:one: Live Photos as Videos :movie_camera::sparkles:

:movie_camera::sparkles: “Tap the icon in the top left to upload your live photos as videos to bring motion to others.”

This little pop-up appeared while I was reviewing Hungry Puppet Restaurant & Banquet - and it totally made my day as a Local Guide! :yellow_heart:

For the first time ever, I was prompted to upload a Live Photo as a short video (check the first screenshot! :camera_with_flash:).
This small yet powerful addition brings your reviews to life - perfect for capturing that sizzling sizzler, a live music vibe, or just natural movement in your experience.

:two: In-depth Event Insights :musical_notes::tada:
I noticed an option to tag special events during our visit - like:
:mirror_ball: Live music
:artist_palette: Themed nights
:balloon: Special occasions

This can really help fellow foodies and explorers make more informed plans before stepping out! :spiral_calendar:

:three: Rich Media Editing Tools :framed_picture::hammer_and_wrench:
The updated photo editor is super smooth - you can:
:clapper_board: Toggle “video on” for Live Photos
:artist_palette: Enhance your visuals seamlessly!

:police_car_light: Note: Some of these exciting features may still be in beta and might not be visible to all users (yet!) - but it’s thrilling to see what’s coming next! :magnifying_glass_tilted_left::light_bulb:

Google Maps is evolving fast - it’s no longer just about ratings, it’s becoming an immersive, experience-sharing platform! :globe_with_meridians::speech_balloon:

Have you noticed any new features while reviewing recently?
Let’s chat in the comments! :speech_balloon::backhand_index_pointing_down:

Thanks @KetanChhaniyara Road editing is a complicated process, but I enjoy doing it.Although I am still away from the process of road editing, I still keep doing some light road editing from time to time. I keep contributing.
My team captain and my teammates all know that I do road editing process on mobile only and I face some difficulty as compared to computer because I have very limited resources for editing. In this sequence, I saw this yesterday.Google updated two-three features for mobile users which are definitely great for mobile users.
Thanks :handshake:
