New to photo editing? Check out my workshop this weekend!

Hey shutter bugs! I’m not sure if I’m trying to sell something basic to a group of pros but just in case you missed seeing my workshop meet-ups this weekend and you’re new to photography/photo editing, well, come join me as I take you on a tour of the Snapseed app as well as giving a bit of guidance in using three basic editing tools!

The objective of the workshop is to get everyone to take better photos as well as knowing how to do minor edits to their photos before uploading to Google Maps! So, we’re not trying to create masterpieces here nor are we doing anything too stylistic! It’s all about correcting simple mistakes and improving composition/lighting to improve the quality of our contributions!

So I have two identical sessions this weekend on different days and times to cater to different time zones. If you’re interested, do check out which session suits you and sign up! Please take note of the various instructions which I highly encourage you to follow! This is not a simple presentation type session but I will be doing hands-on training together with you so you should have the Snapseed app installed and the photo samples downloaded

General instructions:

  • You will need to run Google Meet on a computer and Snapseed on your mobile. Please INSTALL the Snapseed app in advance. If you don’t have an available computer/laptop, you can also use a second phone. I just need you to do the video call on one mobile and use Snapseed on the second mobile
  • Please download the example photos BEFORE the workshop from this album: https://photos.app.goo.gl/dmgKhZFBK8fjnpgv8. We will be editing them together
  • Every confirmed attendee must submit two UN-EDITED photos: one of food, one of any building (inside or outside). Choose photos that you would normally submit to Google Maps. Session 1 attendees, please submit to this album: https://photos.app.goo.gl/gvX8PwjvWWD4MwQc6. Session 2 attendees, please submit to this album: https://photos.app.goo.gl/5fi1Hu4ksqfXURgS9
