Over the past few days I have noticed a new 41 seconds long text to speech explanation of this forum and community.
First, I noticed this little play button
If you hit it, you will see this at the bottom of your screen
You can expand it and listen to the short welcome message on Android
It’s probably a new feature on Connect.
I don’t know how to link to it. It could be a chrome thing.

I think this is a Chrome feature. But you should tag the Google team to ask if this is a new feature or what exactly it is; if it is indeed a new feature, then it seems the Google Maps backend team is in full-swing mode, rolling out new features one after another.

@MortenCopenhagen This is a Chrome feature … which now that I’ve scrolled down, I see you’ve figured out. HOWEVER, there I just noticed a neat new Summary reel under Community Guidelines that gives a tutorial for using Connect by linking to the most important posts
Thanks. That guideline summery is not new. But is it placed on Connect in a way you cannot link directly to it.

I suspect the summaries are generated in the fly ad they seem to reflect the current topics on the latest list and not Connect generally.
