Why can’t we create a new social networking site(like Google+) by incorporating the feature of Local Guides Connect, Google Photos, Google Maps etc to connect the people and world together, to discuss and share the ideas etc???

Thank you for sharing your idea with us, you may know that Google already closed the Google+ service since long, i don’t think they will reopen the service. However, you can share your photos, and your experiences can share here at connect forum, a lot of Local Guides all over the world can see and read your post.

Hey @jintogeorge, as you know, Connect has evolved quite a bit since you joined in 2019. This new site is still fresh and ripe for LGs to make suggestions on how to improve it. One thing I love is the ‘Follow’ option. This gives me alerts any time my friends post, or, I can use the ‘My Feed’ option on the main page to just see posts by the people I’m following or connected with.
What would you like to see added to Connect to better align with your vision?

Hello @jintogeorge, I beg to differ. Local Guides Connect serves a specific purpose. There’s no need to elevate it into a full-fledged social networking platform. Personally, I don’t do social networking, so I wouldn’t want to feel obligated to do more than I already do here.
