Added several new roads and got an email that the roads got published but did not get credit. Why?
The roads now show up in google maps but it still shows i have zero roads added. Did i do something wrong? Is Google upset at me?

Hi @hitechmex there could be a couple of things at play here, firstly when did you add the roads? It can take a while for that to be reflected in your numbers.
The second possibility is that you were not the first person to add the road. If two or more people do it, only the first one gets the credit.

Hi @PaulPavlinovich The request to add the new road was on June 4, 2020 and I got an email that the new road was published on June 8, 2020. I thought the delay in getting credit might be due to the CRONA-19 pandemic. Your thoughts on maybe someone else was first to report the new road is valid and this may be the case. If this is the case a simple notice or explanation that I was not the first would have helped from Google. I just figured since i got an email “Your update has ben published” that it would auto-magically give new road added credit to “Local Guides”. Thank you for your insight and thoughts.
