Ok so this is a chain restaurant but there’s a lot of buzz around them coming to OKC. So I got with some friends to try it out. I was already warned they were running at a 45 minute wait time but thought I’d brave it anyway! I love trying new places. The place is fairly intimate so seating was limited. Myself and my 3 friends sat at a 6 top with a nice lady and her son. They had already been there 30 minutes. Son’s food came out at 45 mins and the mom’s food was asked to be made to-go when it had hit the 1 hour mark. Yikes. I know Grand openings have snags, it’s always that way. Not sure how much to make, how many people will come, etc. I think I expected more from a chain restaurant honestly. Shouldn’t this be fairly easy since it’s been done a ton of times already? While waiting on our food someone, maybe the manager, came out to tell the line of people (twice) that the wait had moved to an hour. Anyway, the food came out right at 45 minutes and it was ok. Ya just ok. Fries are fries, I got a fish taco (because they were somehow OUT of burritos) and the taco was just a taco. My friends tried the chowder fries which was good if you like to rush and eat your fries before they’re soggy, or you like soggy fries. The only notable thing really was the awesome sauce. That’s it’s actually name btw. It was really good and I’m wondering if they market it because that’s the only thing I’d return for!
