I would have never associated Peru with ice cream but I guess you learn something new everyday.
Can you recommend a signature dish or street food that tourists just have to try?
@MortenSI yes, what happens is that Peru is getting a lot better in tourism which means that we have to improve at pretty much everything to exceed expectations. Now, potential to become big players in ice cream was always there because we have a wild variety of fruits, nuts, and so on. An the art of making ice cream is well known worldwide, the difference I think relies on variety and creativity.

It sounds like I’ll have to give Peruvian ice cream a try some day @marcorp . I don’t know much about the procedure of making ice cream, but it seems you have something new to bring to the plate in Peru.

@CaroGuiniazu Cool! you should visit them, some of them are pretty nice and well located, such as Crem de la crem… they several locations in Barranco, Surco… You should visit Patio Panorama, which is a food place located in Surco (Av. Javier Prado, in your way to La Molina)… you can find a nice small spot of Crem de la Crem. Also, fine coffee shops and restaurants. top!
