New editor bug on Connect

Within the last 1-2 weeks I started noticing a new problem related to @-tagging. The problem is persistent on both Android and Desktop.

After selecting someone in a tag the focus jumps to the Connect profile of that person. Without me clicking/tapping deliberately in the tag. It might be related to the old case with focus jumping to the top. So it happens as I click on the text further up to continue editing my text.

On desktop I’m often saved by a new pop-up text asking if I would like to leave the page.

Normally most of the typed message can be found under drafts.

I noticed that a possible workaround is to leave a few empty new lines below the place where toy try to insert a tag.

I wish this bug could be fixed.

Thanks

Thanks @MortenCopenhagen

This is a know issue, already reported times ago that seems to be unsolved till now.

It happens to me also on desktop sometimes.

In some browser I need just to use the back command to recover everything, while in most of the case I go to My Profile > Draft to recover “most” of the post.

It is a weird situation, I admit, because sometimes you receive a prompt to “Exit” from the page or to “cancel” the action, while in many cases you simply jump to the profile of the tagged LG.

Edit: Just now

I am tagging @AngieYC for an update
