New Delhi Local Guide Meetup

Hi All,

I am a resident of New Delhi, India and I was planning to do a good healthy meetup for all the local guides of new delhi. The category I am thinking of is Map Editing but when we all will meet, we could discuss our further plans and on how to implement them.

The tentative date and place I am planning for the meetup is next Sunday i.e. 23rd April, 2017 at Connaught Place. I hope the proposed date and place will be suitable for everybody.

If anybody is up for the meetup please reply on this thread so that we can count you in.

I will share the meetup link as soon as it gets approved.

This is great idea i was proposing for 21st but that’s fine we can meet on 23rd April. But where ? I have small office in South Extension if people agree we can meet in my office.

Hi @birsoni

Thank You for showing your interest in the meetup. I selected 23(Sunday) because most of the people here are working and I don’t want to interrupt them in working hours.

Also, I thought of Dunkin​ Donuts, CP as CP is a central place which may be convenient for everyone. Let us see the response (confirmation) on this post and then we will select the appropriate time and place for the meetup.

Hi ! @Lakshay ,

Great idea ! ! and good initiative. I wish I could join however I wouldn’t like to venture out in Delhi Sun. But 23rd sound like a good date as there will be MCD elections on that day and all shops etc. will be closed till evening.

Hi!I’m new to the community. I was wondering how it’s a good idea to meet here if the shops are close?

Secondly, @Lakshay can you add the Dunkin’ Donuts location to the meetup? It just says ‘New Delhi’.

Lastly, I wonder who is the Local Guide Moderator for Delhi? I saw that a group exists but I can’t seem to find it…

Welcome to the community :slight_smile:

Our main motive for the meetup is discuss the future prospects and how we will be proceeding further. Also, Delhi LG didn’t have a good meetup till now (that’s what I got to know) so this will be a general discussion meetup. Also, I suppose the meetup will end within 1-2 hours so therefore I planned for map editing theme after the meetup and I hope we will get enough shops/shopping complex that we can add/edit on maps.

Secondly, I posted this post when I was planning for the meetup. The meetup got officially approved and I posted that message on this link. You can find the exact location on this thread as well.

Third, on this group , it shows Salmaan Nawaz as the moderator as the moderator symbol is there on his profile

Hi all,

Finally got a chance to be a part New Delhi Meetup at C.P.
It’s was great to meet like-minded another Local Guide (Lakshay).
A guy full of energy and egar to contribute to program and to the world.
