During my childhood, my parents taught me for ‘guiding a person who lost his way is an act of charity’ and that always stuck in my mind.
My name is Mohamed Sardhar, from Doha-Qatar. I moved to this tiny, beautiful country from India decade ago for an employment, since then Qatar has become my second home.Qatar is wealthy, oil rich and lovely expat driven country. Believe me, here around 88% of the population is expatriates (foreign workers). The 3 main items people always search in Google maps are the best restaurants, leisure places and business.
As a construction manager, I have to travel across the country to visit my sites spread at various locations. During traveling, I enjoy taking pictures and talking to people. Upon returning home I’ll sit in front of the computer for creating new places, writing honest reviews and answering questions based on personal experience what I observed during the day.
In this post, I showcase some of my photos from my recent reviews:
When my first input was successfully published in google maps and start accumulating views, I felt so proud of helping people. By then, I decided to continue volunteering regularly as a Local Guide. With Level 7 and 13,000+ points, I feel the same joy as my first post.
I would like to learn new ideas from other Local guides and share my experience with them as well. I’m also willing to share some of my ideas with google map developers.
I always follow my passions that is good as per my intuition. I started local guide just as a hobby and write with little love and care. Now my hobby payback to me as a release valve for the stresses in my life
