I found somebody asked about how to get a new construction house to show on google maps so businesses will acknowledge and deliver products. On that page, it said the county GIS had not been updated. I see on my local GIS that the streets are populated as well as the parcels/addresses. What is needed to be done to get the new neighborhood streets and addresses to show on Google Maps and for the companies to use for validation? I have summitted map edits and maybe it just takes awhile?

The GIS maps maybe updated but do you know if the county shared their parcel dta with Google through the Maps Content Partner program?
Not all counties do.
Your edits were done 4 days ago. Ask for help in the Google Maps help community if your suggestions are not applied in 2 weeks.
Thank you @magrippa . I will call the GIS Department tomorrow and see if they are sharing. Great lead and thank you for the 2 week follow-up suggestion.
Please share them this link: Get started with Geo Data Upload
They will have to register in there and create an account.
Regarding your submission, as @magrippa said, wait at least a couple of week before to contact the Google Maps Support community. Verifying your edit may need time because the community is large, and 150 million Local Guides are submitting data in Maps.
But, as the road are already visible from the satellite view, my feeling is that the edits will be applied
That is also my experience @jkluv000 @ErmesT in cases like this, where the roads are visible already on satellite images: the suggested edits are pending for a week or 2 and then get approved.Fingers crossed.
I honestly have to admit, @JanVanHaver that in a similar case (only one, don’t use it as a reference) the road was added in 20 minutes, but yes, this is the average time I had to wait
The roads were added yesterday, in case you did not notice it yet.
