I just got an achievement as a trusted photographer from Google. But the trusted batch is not showing on my profile. My dream since 2016 is to work as a Google Trusted Photographer. But I noticed that the Google Trusted Photographer program has been temporarily discontinued. Is there any possibility of opening it?

I had the same problem and concern as you and was informed that Connect was totally separate from Google Street View. I will attach a post where they explain this.
I made a publication and they solved some doubts, but it was totally clear to me that connect and street view are separated, but in the same way I received the google truster badge in the google street view app, but it was not activated in this application.
There is another very good post that explains the difference and how to be a part of the two.

As for July, 2021 new enrollments into the Street View trusted program are put on hold. At this time, the Street View team do not award the trusted badge to new contributors who’ve reached the minimum number of photos for membership, and do not list new professionals on the for-hire index. You can read more about it here.

At the top of the page it says:
As of July 19, 2021, new enrollments into the Street View trusted program are put on hold. At this time, we do not award the trusted badge to new contributors who’ve reached the minimum number of photos for membership and do not list new professionals on the for-hire index.
We don’t know if or when it will open again. Personally, I doubt it ever will.

Maybe @Bobiisha can answer your question. Did you earn and get the trusted badge before?
Keep in mind that the value of the logo and the list is very limited. You need to create your own marketing like all other businesses and be able to share samples and references etc.
Earlier the list would generate you leads via email. This has also ended.

It seems to be a widespread thing, I too was a google trusted photographer and was included in the list of photographers available for hire, now I am no longer there but I have never received any communication about it

There was a cleanup where inactive trusted photographers were removed from the list. @ErmesT has often mentioned when this happened, but I don’t have the relevant link at hand.
Hopefully, @Bobiisha will step in and explain if you can have your badge back.

@Paolo_Dalprato you still have your badge and hence can use the badge. @ekbun I don’t see the badge on your profile here on Connect. Could you have used a different account?

I see that you still have the badge on your profile. As for the removal, as @MortenCopenhagen mentioned, there was a clean-up process for optimization for the for-hire list and accounts that weren’t active for 18 months were delisted. You can find more information about this on this link, as well as a form for reinstatement.

The program went trough a revamp and different changes, however, since Connect is dedicated to Local Guides program, I can’t give further information. I suggest that you check out this article, where you will find different Street View resources and make sure to keep an eye on the latest updates.

Sorry to tell you this, but from July 19, 2021, enrollment of new members into the SV program has been on hold. What that means is that awarding of SV badge to new members who have reached the minimum number of 50 published photos is not done anymore. They don’t list new professionals into the for hire index list anymore too.
Meanwhile for further enquiries about the streetview program Questions-about-Street-View-Read-this-first . Hope this is a complete enough answer.

Last night I saw a post on Facebook in one of the many trusted photographers groups that Google might have restarted the program to award the trusted status to more users.
I checked if any updates had been done in the post stating it is on hold. Nothing. The new help center also has no mention of this. So I concluded that it is not likely the program was restarted.
Let’s keep an eye out. In conclusion it is currently not possible to becone trusted. Personally, I doubt the program will ever reopen. But you can make and share 360 contributions as you please.
