The arch entrance of Wat Dokbaw, one of the old temples in Lampang, was built in 1953.
It looks simple and does not show any extravagance.
The stucco figure of Leo on each side does not look lonely when having a male angel leaning on his front legs.
They have been rigorously protecting the temple for almost seventy years.

Hello @WichaiP
Welcome to Connect
The Leo figures on either side indeed are welcoming and protectors.
Today I know a bit more about Thai temples.
Can you also tell what is written on the entrance arch and what is the script called?

Hi @MAHBUB_HYDER
Thank you very much indeed for your kind words. I shall do as you suggested undoubtedly, but still being naive on LGC, I need a longer time to study How-to. There are so many subjects I should be learning after joining our warmest community. Thanks to you all.
What a wonderful world of Connect!

Hello @TusharSuradkar
Thank you very much indeed. I think you’ve got very sharp and delicate eyes on my posted pictures.
About writing on the entrance arch, they are just Thai alphabets and numbers. The golden one in the middle tells the name of the temple. The lower one shows the address. And the top one indicates the year of construction.
Cheers,
Chai
