Nevado de Toluca located about 80 kilometres west of Mexico City near the city of Toluca. It is generally cited as the fourth highest of Mexico’s peaks, after Pico de Orizaba, Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl, although by some measurements, Sierra Negra is slightly higher
You can visit the volcano in the car, from Mexico City at 2 o’clock, I recommend you arrive early, you can have breakfast at the entrance places a mushroom soup, quesadillas, corn, enjoy a walk on the dirt road or reach the top of your bicycle or car. To enter the crater from the shelter is an hour walking, I recommend you take sunscreen, sunglasses and appropriate clothing of the season, as well as appropriate footwear.
Follow the trails and do not leave the road, respect the place and return your trash, nola leave in place.
You can take your dog, always on a leash to the shelter, pets do not have access to the crater. Drones are not allowed either because they increase the fauna of the place.
