[Netherlands] One Day in The Hague : Things To Do

For the trip traveling to the southern part of the Netherlands like Rotterdam and Den Haag (The Hague), we planned to stay in the Hague due to its ease of transportation and inexpensive cost of accommodation. The Hague is regarded as the most royal city in the Netherlands since it is the seat of government of the Netherlands.

Overall, the Hague is nice to explore many historic government buildings with well-established transportation system in place (e.g. trains, trams and buses) for traveling to nearby cities e.g. Scheveningen, Rotterdam, Amsterdam.

Thank you so much for another brilliant post, @SunPanupong ! The Netherlands is definitely one of my favorite countries that I visited. There’s something about it, I can’t quite put it, it’s like everything there is very peaceful and enchanting. It’s most probably because of it’s stylish modern architecture that I can’t get enough of. I so much enjoy going there that I am planning my 3rd trip.

Hey @SunPanupong ,

What an amazing post! It reminded me of my visit in the Hague a couple of years ago. However, I didn’t have luck to see the city in a sunny weather. When I went there, it was constantly raining and I was not able to take such nice pictures as yours. Nevertheless, I was impressed by the beautiful buildings and the interesting architecture. I was tired of the rain so I went in a few shops as well where I got one of my favourite pair of shoes.

By the way, here are two photos I managed to take in the 5 minutes the weather was not gloomy.

@KlaudiyaG I also love the Netherlands, so many interesting places to see and explore. Next chapters from me will be about Amsterdam, Keukenhof and Giethoorn where are unique in their ways.

@MoniDi thanks for your post ! I’m really appreciated for that. For me, the good thing for traveling in rainy days is you can still manage to take photos of any place without concerning about highlight and shadow so that you could have another style of your photos and you can spend your time more in indoor places like cafes, museums.
