For the trip traveling to the southern part of the Netherlands like Rotterdam and Den Haag (The Hague), we planned to stay in the Hague due to its ease of transportation and inexpensive cost of accommodation. The Hague is regarded as the most royal city in the Netherlands since it is the seat of government of the Netherlands.

Scheveningen is a modern seaside resort with a long, sandy beach, an esplanade, a pier, and a lighthouse. The beach is popular for water sports such as windsurfing and kiteboarding. We arrived the place in the late evening and found out that the place was quiet as many shops were already closed.
Overall, the Hague is nice to explore many historic government buildings with well-established transportation system in place (e.g. trains, trams and buses) for traveling to nearby cities e.g. Scheveningen, Rotterdam, Amsterdam.
