My first visit to Pokhara, Nepal.
Visiting Nepal was a so beautiful experience.
I was stayed in my house, Kyoto city last month Fevruary 2020. Kyoto in midwinter is very very cold, I was locked up at home every day and the news I see every day is only miserable.
In the same time, I saw a documentary movie in the Himalaya mountain in my house.
I was impressed by the wonderful scenery.
It is an unknown world that I am unlikely to go to myself. I felt like I was climbing and just got caught on the screen. If I can go, I definitely want to see it!
Two days later I was buying a ticket to Nepal.
My journey always starts suddenly.
About 2 hours by train from my house in Kyoto city to Kansai International Osaka Airport. From there, fly to Kathmandu via Malaysia. Stayed 2 nights in Kathmandu, then flew to Pokhara.
Pokhara was a very calm city with a Phewa Lake. What impressed me as much as this Himalayan landscape was that the Nepalese were very kind, honest, warm and gentle. Stayed for a week in the city of Pokhara.
There is a towering “Sarancourt hill” in front of Pokhara. Also Sarancourt is a village in Nepal. About 140 km west of the capital Kathmandu, it is a highland at an altitude of 1592 m, located in the northern part of Phewa Lake in Pokhara.
One morning I climbed this hill for about three hours. I am super lucky becouse day was so sunny. I saw the sunrise on the top hill.
The Himalayas were waiting on the other side of the sunrise side. I was impressed by the great power of the Himalayas! The contrast between the Himalayas and the blue of the sky was amazing.
How small are humans in the overwhelming majesty of nature? It was an incredible sight on the earth, a video that made you feel the existence of gods. I am looking forward to the unexplored scenery.
