I posted a negative review regarding a clinic. Now, I fear I’m suffering from backlash. Is this allowed or possible? Has this happened to you?
Hello @ItsCrys welcome to the connect , the main thing is that your review has to be true and not biased , if you want to know more about local guide rules then please visit this page Localguides rules and don’t worry about the backlashes if your review is true and doesn’t break any lock guide rules.
Hi @ItsCrys I have been in a similar situation, before, My wife a few years ago went for x-rays and the technician did not have the best grasp of the English language , my wife was a senior and could not understand the technicians instructions . She came out shaking and crying because the technician was yelling at her. I complained to their head office and after reading some prior reviews found this was on ongoing situation . The area manager contacted me and apologized and said the employee would be spoken too.
We never returned there and never would , My review was taken down it wasn’t nasty but it was honest.
I read your review and thought it was an honest review complaining of the service and suggest you do need to talk to someone "higher up:
Don’t worry it’s always better to be honest than fake.
Hi @ItsCrys
You wrote:
… is very unprofessional, rude, and has no patience
Such statements are very likely to be cause for your review to be taken down. You are over reaching by stating/concluding something that you can not prove.
If you describe what happened and how that made you feel your statements can not be challenged and is much more likely to not be removed.
How about:
This experience left me with the impression that (this person) is unprofessional, rude, and has little patience.
Such a statement is a lot harder to challenge successfully.
That said, please try to be more polite since less aggressive and constructive criticism is more likely to be helpful and lead to improvements.
All the best
Morten
PS keep in mind that one thing is Google’s rules. Another thing is that the clinic can sue you for defamation. In that case you are responsible by local laws and Google can and will not help you.
Buongiorno, personalmente penso che raccontando la verità senza esagerare sulle esperienze vissute non ci sia nulla di illecito, buon lavoro.
Hi @ItsCrys ,
I think your fellow Local Guides already provided some helpful tips that you can follow.
I would like to inform you that since what you shared is a question, I am changing the topic of your post to How-tos to keep Connect organized. For more details about topics on Connect, I recommend you to review this article What are Connect topics?.
Hi @MortenCopenhagen ,
Thank you for your feedback. I really appreciate your unbiased view. I was very upset when I wrote the review. I have now read it and modified it to be more reflective of my feelings and less accusatory.
Thank you!
@ItsCrys I would like to suggest you to add @ this symbol before the name of a person you want to mention so that they may notified that you mentioned them.
Thanks and have a nice day
.
@Mukul_Anand Thanks!!
You have a great as well!
@TerryPG I wish I had been called to rectify the situation. I was actually contacted to tell me my children were being dropped from the practice. After looking on reviews for the same clinic on other websites, this is the way they operate- they have dropped other people’s children from their clinic because of a bad review.
I don’t understand how I can be denied clinic care for posting my experience. Why review, when your children will suffer real consequences? I did not know this was a possibility. I’m really just shocked.
@Mukul_Anand
si grazie mille, ma stavo per partire e non avevo copiato il nome, quindi ho scritto in fretta… ciao e buon lavoro amico…
