Hi @Adel91 do you have the option to add and it doesn’t work, or do you not have the option to add? Are you using mobile or desktop?

Not all functionality is available in all countries @Adel91 this could be because Maps isn’t fully rolled out in that region or possibly because of technology sanctions depending on the country.

Hi @Adel91,

Thank you for reaching with us.

It is advisable to have operational system of your device as well as the version of the Google Maps application to be check for the most recent updates.

I have moved your post to How-tos, as it would be more appropriate there.

Hopefully upgrading did solve your issue @Adel91 always have auto updates turned on for Maps. The App updates quite frequently. If you have a device that has less capabilities you can use the smaller version of Maps called Maps Go which has a much smaller footprint on the device as most of it is delivered via a Progressive Web App. It can use a bit more data though.

Other things that can cause issues where behaviour is different between two people

  • One person is a Local Guide and the other is not - they see different things
  • One person uses a different version of the operating system and Maps App - the app won’t update on old versions of Android as there are compatibility issues
  • One person is using a VPN and location spoofer that makes them appear to be someplace different to where they really are
  • The network provider of one person filters the traffic

Hello @Adel91 ,

I am going to remove the Arabic language label from your post as it doesn’t contain such. Only posts written in a specific language should have the corresponding label. You can find more information in this article: How do I find posts in my preferred language?
