Like in the detailed thread above, there is a government initiative for clean public toilets across India, which is mostly attached to gas stations. Name is wrong in Malayalam and tried correcting and not getting accepted.
Currently, it reads സബ്മ ടോയ്ലെറ്റ് which is phonetically sub-ma toilet, instead of എസ്ബിഎം ടോയിലെറ്റ്. (i.e. എസ് - S, ബി - B, എം - M and ടോയിലെറ്റ് - toilet)
Need some help in bulk renaming of them altogether, which I think is beyond the limits of a Local Guide. Spelling is correct in Hindi. Need to check in other Indian languages too. Hope mods can help with this matter.
Thanks for reaching out @DilipC Actually this is a very big translation error in the South India region.
I personally searched many locations on the map and all of them seem to have a translation error.
I am tagging Google moderator @InaS here who will take the issue to the map team. Actually, SBM is a short form for “Swachh Bharat Mission” and the toilets built under this mission have been added to the map as “SBM toilets”. As @DilipC said, his translation in the local language seems to be wrong. So I would urge you to tell the MAP team to take appropriate action.
