I am not able to post images on connect. While clicking on the image icon to upload, it is showing a blank page and later hangs or sometimes shows chrome is not responding.
Is anyone else got the same issue? Please help. Any help is appreciated.
That’s a known glitch.
Updating the browser & clearing the cookies may help in reducing such incidences.
However, that has to do something with the invocation of the file explorer on clicking the photo upload icon.
I guess that happens when the OS struggles to allocate resources.
You can click on the X & close the program. Then click on the camera icon once again.
The system stabilizes by that time & the upload happens without any glitch.
Nevertheless, a better way is to use HTML for insertion of image. That will be helpful in long term to over come the 1K limit issue.
Here is a link to the post explaining how to do that
Just to be sure, would the browser occur like that when attempting to upload photo on Connect?
Additionally, I have also added a little bit more details to the title of the post, do feel free to check further if needed to represent better your inquiry.
@sonnyNg thank you for your support.Yes, when I click on the image icon from connect to upload the image and then it doesn’t open the images. Sometimes shows a loading icon, sometimes it hangs.
@C_T I have accessed local guides connect on my mobile default browser on redmi k20 pro. I clicked on start a post and clicked on the image icon and was successfully able to upload the image. It may be some issue with chrome as it was not showing any of the files when I click on the image icon to upload.
Still, that doesn’t provide a complete answer to your problem.
Till date, my experience is the behaviour of all browsers is identical unless one loads specific extensions to a particular one.
Google chrome is the most popular browser as on date and it’s surprising that it is lacking some functionalities on a specific handset model. Further, Redmi is not in an exclusion list and hence Google chrome lacking some functionalities on that remains a mystery.
It would seem that with the recent updates, it would not be conclusive yet with the subject, as for the moment I may revoke the reply as solution, my apologies on being too certain!
Should it to be made cleared, Its_me_arun, would the successful attempt to upload photo via mobile to Connect happen to meet with any steps kindly provided by C_T?
