Hello, Local guides please can youll help me on how can i improve quality of my photos,
my budget does not allow me to buy a DSLR nor to get even a mobile phone with a ‘ok’ type
camera. I have a android phone which has 8mp camera and youll know how will be photos of it.
one of my friend owns a DSLR he took me with him for a photoshoot.It was my firt time that i held the
DSLR in hand I told him that i don’t know to use it,he patiently thaught be basics,after learning basics
he told me to take some pics if his and trust me they were better than the photos what he took,from that day i began to like photography,unfortunately he went abroad for his work along with his DSLR.Then i began to take photos using mobile camera,now i want to get a DSLR but i cannot afford it (not even second hand) and iam not working,studing in class 12th please help by some ways i can get i DSLR.OR to improve the moble photo quality.

@saurabh_Naik You don’t need to buy a decent phone if you don’t have only to take photos for maps. You just follow these tips and try to take better photos.

Seriously @SaifIS is right, Local Guides generally use their phone to capture images for Maps.
Learning the basics about how to use your camera app, learning about light (natural is best, put it behind you unless you gain skills) and above all else keep your lens clean will mean you can contribute sufficient quality images to Maps.
@saurabh_Naik Photos from an 8 MP camera shouldn’t be that bad. If it is blurry, then try to keep your hand steady. Curious, which phone are you using now?
