Hello, I’m Rahul from Moradabad (India). There are many duplicate/wrong places/incorrect located location in my nearby area. I have submitted/edited correct information on google map few months ago, but these edits are still pending for verification. What is the time period of updation/verification of these types of edits.

Every edit passed through automatic algorithm systems and it’s a taking some time. After reviewing your edit publish on map. For more information please read this thread.

Google maps is working very hard to decrease the turnaround time for publishing edits. As edits suggested by the local guides is to be verified, it take time to publish sometimes.

Google Maps Edits are approved by the local guides fact check contributions. So if you give me those wrong pleases link I will try my best to solve this issue.

Hiii Rahul,
Usually edits takes some time to publish on Google maps.Google will email you if edits will successfully publish. If your edits are still pending or not verified. Then try to suggest same edits again and it will publish successfully.

Hi @Ashraf_Siddik this is something that we should avoid, as Check the facts should be used only for questions you are directly aware of the answer and it’s also mentioned in our Local Guides Community Guidelines policy, you should only add/edit/approve/deny an edit if you have first-hand knowledge of the place or you have personally checked that the information is real.
