Generally pizzas with cheesy crust are something completely outside of any Italian pizzeria: they are generally popular in American pizza variants instead! Anyway there are some exceptions: a particular kind of Neapolitan pizza involves filling crust with ricotta cheese. The final result is tasty. Obviously it is still an Italian pizza, so don’t expect the taste of an USA style cheesy crust pizza. On the top of pizza you can find tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese, but also Grana Padano / Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.
