Khujand city is famous for its cuisine - everything here is delicious, shahliks (kebab type of food), oshi palov (national food made of rice and meet), shurbo (national soup), and many others.

People here are friendly and open.

We have many national holidays in Tajikistan and Navruz (literally means ‘a New Day’) is one of the greatest ones! It symbolizes the awakening of the nature and starting of new farming season.

Tajikistan, and Khujand in particular, gets very beautiful during Navruz - trees start to blossom and the air is so fresh and lovely! People enjoy their time together and come out for walks and having nice food together.
