The garden of the nature you can enjoy if you wish to travel in the hill area in Bangladesh. The way to Nafakum Waterfall is very natural and so beautiful place to enjoy for who is loving nature. The post is for how to travel and enjoy the place.

How to go:

First you need to go to Dhaka, Bangladesh and then follow this-

  1. You have to go Bandarban by bus from Dhaka. (If you start at night, you will arrive the next morning.)
  2. From Bandarban to Thanchi you have to go by a special bus or pickup called ‘Chander Gari’. It will take like 5 hours.
  3. From Thanchi, you will have to get a boat to Remakri Bazar. The name and address should be entered at the Thanchi Check Post. If everything is fine it will take 3 hours.
  4. There are some rest houses at Remakri Bazaar. Although the Rest House is not vacant, there are 20/20 homes with almost every room to rent. If it is not empty then there are a school, you can contact the locals people.
  5. Namakhum will have to leave from Remakri Market on foot. Going 2 hours and returning 2 hours, it will take 4 hours total.
  6. To return the boat must be ticked in advance. If you wake up in the morning, you can get Thanchi before noon. After lunch you have to get in Bandarban’s Bus. Please know the timing of the Bus, it is not for 24 hours service.
  7. In the evening, you need to catch Bus for Dhaka from Bandarban . By over night journey you will reach Dhaka in morning.
