I love to see nature in it’s raw estate. This is one of them. This Anthill was actually in the way of some construction so we needed to get rid of it. Then suddenly wait!!! It’s an Anthill. It should have a queen. We searched and here she is.
The Anthill is a colony that comprises of male and female workers and of course the queen Ant. Usually it’s a Queen per hill but studies have shown that it could have more than one queen.
The Queen’s sole responsibility is to reproduce while she is well taken care of.
Facts about the Ant and Ant hill.
- Do you know that Ants do kiss? This is how nutrients are transferred from one ant to another and identify is confirmed this way as well
- Do you know that there is at least 2million Ants in an hill ? Studies have shown that it could be more than that.
- Do you know that they are wie creatures? The holy book has it that because they work in the summer to store up food and the are orderly we should learn from them.
