One of the biggest science museum in Delhi , the capital of India. the best time to travel this Museum is at 10 a.m. because your whole day will spend here and you will really enjoy the sci-vibes here.

Caption - 2 Various types of yantra

There are many types of yantra here with complete information. Peeth yantra , jalchakra yantra , ram yantra , gola yantra , samrat yantra , Mishra yantra.

Caption - 3 The harappan civilization

There was a proper section of harappan civilization which is explained in detail you may see various types of ornaments , maps , weapons and statues related to this civilization.

Caption - 4 Historic India and ayurveda

I was very Amazed to see the lifestyle of historical India like the ayurvedic treatment, iron shelters , ancient Indian chemical laboratory, traditional Indian weavers . All these statues are well maintained with proper lighting.

Caption - 5 Famous Indian monuments

Here you may see the structure of various Indian monuments like taj mahal , red fort , architecture of Delhi sultanate , Meenakshi Sundaram temple and Ashoka pillar .all of these replicas are very beautiful and attractive.

Caption - 6 Some beautiful art and crafts.

There are various art pieces like all the traditional Indian music instrumental like sitar , Veena , tabla , dholak , flute etc the replica of an elephant the statue of lord Bhrama the creator of the universe and the one and five barrel cannon.

Caption - 7 Some Amazing scientific things .

There are some most amazing scientific things and these are some pictures like the first electron microscope, the functioning of the human body like you have to press the button and then see the skeleton that how it reacts to your response. There was also a game called which is heavier? In which there are 3 box of different sizes and you have to guess that which is heavier among themselves most of the people think that the biggest one is the heavier but they may be wrong sometimes because the bigger one maybe bigger in volume but less in density and that’s why the smallest one was the heavier because of its density.

Caption - 8 Joints and body movements.

There was a cycle and if you start paddling then there was a skeleton on a cycle which shows the movement of your joints and body during cycling and all the kids are very curious to see such things .in the entrance you may see a steel structure in which a ball travel without even stop continuously and it’s all based on science.

Caption - 9 The Jurassic park

The second best place in this Museum is the Jurassic park because first place is taken by the mirror world . Here you will see many dinasaurs which are in motion their sound and the din lights make this place an interesting as well as horror for children.

Caption - 10 Bhimbetka cave paintings

after Jurassic park you will see the Bhimbetka cave paintings and man’s first attempt to communication.

Caption - 11 Bhimbetka manuscripts, coins and stamps .

All the stamps and coins were safely preserved in glass boxes and if you want to see them from near then there was a magnifying glass on the glass box from which you will see the coin accurately.

Caption - 12 Nostalgia

This section is nostalgic for many people from old times because it shows the old time train platforms and artifacts like the clock and the horn or lights the waiting room , platform and station master cabin Was recreated in such a beautiful way…

Caption - 13 Fun science

There was many cool things to do in.this section of museum like the mirror world where you face difficult to cross the world , the liquid painting , the reflex tracker , electric shock , symmetry and “the head on the place” where a person moves backward and shows his face but from front it looks like he’s without body but only head and it’s so cool to see this .

Caption -14 Some old gadgets

There are some old gadgets like cameras, Machines, speaker and the movie shooting cameras all are in great condition , the typewriter which is so nostalgic for my mother and father.

Caption - 15 Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel

It’s so great to see the whole.floor is given to the memory of sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who is also known as the iron man of India, there were many big screens in which you will enjoy movies regarding the life of sardar patel for free , you will also listen the various speeches of sardar Vallabhbhai Patel with the help of telephone and headphones and screens.

Caption - 16 Ayurveda the healthy lifestyle

This was my personal favourite section in which a huge hall is given to ayurveda in which many seeds , ayurvedic fruit seeds and spices are mentioned and you may also smell them.there were many cool machines in which you may set your nose near the machine and you smell some rare expensive oils which smells so good , many huge models are present where you see the benefits of ayurvedic aushadhi in your body .

@Mukul_Anand haha best topic very detailed explanation and sharp photos. Let me tell you my hubby will spend every second as soon as they open the door till him being kicked out of the premises while I will be a good listener to him he will re-explain or mostly narrate what was written on the board. That’s how much he loves science :wink:
