Narsinghgarh is a town and tehsil in Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh in Malwa Plateau. This town is fully covered with hills of Sandstones with greenery. Therefore it is also known as Kashmir of Malwa. The best time to visit Narsinghgarh is monsoon as this place have most tourist places on hills and also having so many waterfalls.
Some best places to visit in Narsinghgarh are -
- Bada Mahadev Mandir (Kashi Vishwanath Temple)-
- Chota Mahadev Mandir and Gau Ghati Waterfall -
- Narsinghgarh Fort -
- Jal Mandir -
I visited Narsinghgarh in mid July in monsoon season at the time the day was sunny. First we have visited Bada Mahadev then Chota Mahadev and also have taken bath in Gau Ghati Waterfall. From Chota Mahadev the way of Nadiya Pani goes which is also a beautiful place to visit but we cant go there due to lack of time. There is a wildlife sanctuary in which a famous place Chidi Khoh is situated. After that we go to Jal Mandir and watched the sunset from there. It was such a great feeling to sit there. Jal Mandir is totally covered with the lake which is also covered with the hills from all sides. Fort can be easily seen from temple and similarly temple can also be seen from fort. I request you all if you visit Narsinghgarh then bring your food items because we find everywhere but we got no resturant or choupati in the city. It was on the Bypass outside the city.
