Narbadeshwar Mahadev temple, Jaisamand Lake, Udaipur Rajasthan, India

This temple was built in Rajputana style by Maharana Jai ​​Singh along with Jaisamand lake. It’s known as Narbadeshwar Mahadev temple. Its structure is based on stone pillars, capitals and beams and centre is having a fluted dome on the top of which there is a brass final in the centre of the inverted lotus petals.

The outer part is completely made of marble. In which there are moldings, carvings and attractive marble lattice for air and light. Provision of many offsets has been made from the ground towards the roof which are making the small building attractive and strong. Marble railing has also been installed on the roof.

This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, in which there is a linga made of black stone or white marble and in front there is Nandi. Because Shiva and Nandi are covered with attractive clothes which are increasing the aura of the temple. When one comes to visit Jaisamand lake, then one should spend some time in this temple and perform rituals with customs.
