Welcome to Local Guides Connect!
Wow nice photo and very nice Namma Aruvi Waterfalls, thanks for sharing this with us. Did you visit it or you live near there? Is this place famous among tourists? Can you share more about the city that you took the photos of? I think it will be interesting for other Local Guides.

Hi Aruni,
I am glad to be a part of the local guides connect. Thank you so much for the warm welcome.
I visited this place as a tourist. Namma Aruvi waterfall is located at Kolli Kills, an offbeat hill station in Tamil Nadu. The hill station is pristine devoid of any commercialization. The Salem airport is the nearest airport near Kolli Hills. It is about 62 KMs from Kolli Hills. Kolli Hills fondly called the Mountain of Death is eminent among the bike touring groups because of the 70 hairpin bends en route to the top of the hill.
Tourists looking for an offbeat experience in Tamil Nadu must visit this place. Best Time to Visit: Sep - Jan
@mohankumar807 very nice my friend! Are there other nature landscapes as nice in your country.
@marcorp Thanks for the kind words. India has diverse landscapes from snow-capped mountains to deserts, hottest places where rainfall is a blessing to the wettest place where it rains most times of the year.
Offbeat tourist locations similar to the above landscape setting can be found in Chamba in Himachal Pradesh, Ziro in Arunachal Pradesh, Matheran in Maharashtra, and Kalimpong in West Bengal.
Thank you for your information. It is a very nice place, I wish I could visit this place once in a lifetime. Please don’t forget to tag Connect members in your posts (by writing @ before their name) This way they receive a notification and know that you are trying to communicate with them directly.
