NAINTAL - UTTRAKHAND

NainItal is one the famous hill station located in India part of Uttarakhand.

Every year thousands of tourists visiting Nainital to enjoy the beauty of it’s famous lakes.

This hill station is mainly famous for its lakes there are total 7 lakes located in Nainital.

Nainital is also known as Naini lake the total length of the Naini Lake is 1.432km.

We stayed 2 days in Nainital and we could cover 4 lakes. One of the best lake I loved was bhimtal lake which is the most biggest lake from all the others. We also did boating. The lake surrounding is peaceful with the mountain view and cold breeze. I was like wish I could just be forever over here.

In every hill station of India there is always interesting thing to see is a “Mall road” this is place where you chill or hang out like hours. There is many things you can do is like enjoy local street food, cafes, restaurant , shopping , softy ice cream is very famous in Nainital people who love having ice cream in cold they must try…

  2. Sattal
  3. Naukuchiatal
  4. Khurpatal
  5. Malwatal
  6. Harishtal
  7. Lokhamtal.

There are 3 ways to reach Naintal

  1. Railways
  2. Roadways
  3. Airways

Railways
You can take a train from old Delhi to Kathgodam. From Kathgodam to naintal is just 34kms the taxi’s are available from outside the station.

Airport
The nearest airport is Pantnagar that is 70km drive from naintal. The flights for pantnagar is only from new Delhi.

Hi @uavalentine you can travel anytime after may as the summer starts if you want a bit more pleasant you can travel between Oct to Nov that’s the best time you can enjoy the lake as well winter.
