Its was wonderful experience of hiking at nag Tibba trekk.
This is about 350/- kms journey from Delhi and good option for hikers and travels who have only weekends plan.
How’s to reach?- Take a bus or train from Delhi to dehradun on Friday night.
Day 1(Saturday) - Early morning in Saturday you will be in dehradun. There after take a bike on rent which is available near Prince Chowk /railway station @rs500/- per day. Go towards mussoorie kempaty falls where you can take some rest and have your breakfast.
We had here
Now you have to reach at pantwari village from where trekk will be started.
Have some food here and then book your tent and camping site on base camp where your stay and breakfast / lunch /dinner will be provided. Now park your bike at any place from where you have booked camp. Start your trek upto based camp (goat Village)
Saturday night stay in your tent, have your dinner and enjoy bonfire with the group.
Day 2 (Sunday) - wake up early in the morning at 2:30AM? Yes right you have to wake that much early to start your trek on time at 3 AM. It will take around 3:30 hours to reach at summit and enjoy the beauty of sun rise.
Things to carry: water bottle, some chocolate, candy, biscuits, umbrella, gloves, torch because now no shop will be available ahead and you will need all of them. It is 3.5 kms trek from base camp.
First you will reach at nag devta temple. Take blessing and some rest and start final trek to summit. And then we were at top. It was really a proud feeling for us because in our group of 20 peoples only 7 reached at top. There was strong wind and temperature in minus. We could stay not more than 5mins at summit.
By looking at pictures you can have some idea how much beautiful this place is and trekk no doubt was difficult.
I can not share my feeling in words but tried to write down what I could.
Any question or suggestions are welcomed.
Thankyou
