Hello, I am Vikas Gupta, from India. I am very fond of tourism. I love visiting new places every time, in which Google Maps helps me a lot. The whole map of the city I want to visit is in my pocket because of Google Maps. I gather information about all the good restaurants, parks, monuments in the city in which my assistant is Google Maps and its strong community of associated local guides. We get complete information about the place from the reviews and uploaded photos provided by Local Guides. This makes tourism quite convenient. With my knowledge and travel plans, I place special importance in my friends. All the places in my Google maps that I want to visit are safe. When I want to roam alone, I feel very comfortable because of Google Maps.
I have been associated with the Local Guide program for quite some time. I want to help people by sharing my information and photos on Google Maps in the same way as other local guides help me a lot. Currently I am level 6. Google Maps helps me a lot in this task. As a local guide, I now try to submit a review wherever I go. Upload photos and videos of there. This is my way of thanking the people through whom I help. I love when people get help by reading my review. I feel a sense of helping people.
I help by adding small businesses around me to Google Maps and share my information about those shops with it. Many times I have had problems with old information in Google Maps, so I try now that I keep updating the correct information in Google Maps.
