I am Muhammed from Iraq this is my first post in local guides connect it is only the start I would like to publish my experience during my visit last week to Sharm El sheikh, in fact compare with Baghdad the weather was very nice it was around 35c and the city is very modern but still have some restriction because of Corona I recommend all people to visit this city it has very beautiful places and very good resorts and I think the prices is not very expensive

Dear Sir Many thanks for your nice words and I am really happy to participate in local guides connect it looks very useful when meet such educated personalities from all over the world, I would like to ask you for advice, I have started to publish many places and photos from 5 months but unfortunately I wasn’t aware of all directions of google maps which led me to be blocked from make any edit, this problem started one week ago during my visit to Sharm I was added more than 50 approved places only in this city but some places I added them more than one time even previously I had added others in Baghdad many times , one week ago I have been blocked from adding new place and I cant make any edit like update hours or phone numbers but all my records still same and I can add photos and review and all others activity only I cant make any edit to any place , I also deleted many photos and I will start to adjust my reviews, but regarding the blocking I wonder do I can cancel any unapproved place or no ? I am waiting your kind reply and sorry for detailed description.

First of all thanks for asking a question about the problems regarding your google maps profile. It shows your interest to make your contributions more helpful for others.
I just took a look at your Google maps profile, and found that may be by mistake you added one photo for multiple places. May be that’s the main problem which the result you are facing now.
If you can, please read this article by Jan Van Haver Local Guides Clean the map - LGCTM, in this article you can find many answers of your questions. And I m tagging here @JanVanHaver who started this campaign to create awareness for removing those photos or contributions which can be cause of anyone’s suspension from LG program for further guidance for you.

Hello @Muhammedgeo , greetings from Belgium to Sharm El Sheik! As it happens, I was in Egypt last weekend… not in person, but virtually, as the monthly AVM (Africa Virtual Meetup), which was held last Sunday, was hosted from Egypt (Alexandria). And thanks @KashifMisidia for tagging me here.
About your question: can you please tell in a bit more detail what exactly you mean by ‘blocked’? Do all your edits immediately result in ‘Not Applied’?

In fact, I am really thankful for your kind reply and sorry for late response because I had some family issues.
When I was in Sharm last month I added many photos and places to google maps and I had been blocked only for one week from adding any other places. During that blocking week I asked for help but later I have been unblocked and now I am in level 9 and everything is going normal.

Great to hear all is well again @Muhammedgeo . In general I would say: if there is some kind of issue with your contributions, just wait a couple of days as most issues go away as suddenly as they have come.
