My visit to Onkareshwar,Indore and Ujjain.

Good Afternoon Friends
In this post, I am going to share my experience about my very last trip to Indore and Ujjain a few days ago. I live in Risod in Washim district (Maharashtra). So my 3 friends and I went from Risod by route Risod-Buldhana-Muktainagar-Burhanpur-Omkareshwar-Indore-Ujjain in our own car with the help of Google Map. We left at 9 pm and reached Omkareshwar at 5 am. There is a temple of Shri Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan, Shegaon at Omkareshwar. It is really awesome and accommodation is available at very low rate. If you are planning to stay in Omkareshwar, I would definitely urge you to stay here for a day and experience their disciplined manner and cleanliness.

Onkareshwar:After that we left for Shri Omkareshwar Mandir at 11 am. There are two ways to reach the temple, you can go over the infantry bridge or you can go in a boat.There are many benefits of going in a boat. You can experience the boat, you can see the confluence of Narmada and Kaveri rivers and you can go around the whole island. After that we went straight to Indore.

Indore: In Indore, we saw the beautiful palace and museum of Devi Ahilyabai Holkar. We bought clothes from the local market near to the palace. If you are going to Indore, make sure to buy electronic lighting. Lighting is available here at very cheap and reasonable rates. After that we went to 56 Dukan to taste different foods. In 56 Dukan you can find great food at cheap rates. You must visit this too. Then we left for Ujjain.

Ujjain: The temple of Mahakal Ujjain has its own excellent accommodation.Due to the prevalence of covid 19, Darshan booking has to be done one day in advance. The mask is also mandatory. In Ujjain we visited

1. Shri Mahakal Temple
   Jyotirlinga is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas and has a special place in Hinduism.
2. Mahakaleshwar Temple.
   Here alcohol is offered to God by devotees.
3. Sandeepani Ashram.
   Lord Krishna and Sudama under sage Sandeepani lived for 64 days for education.
4. Ram Ghat
   There is a temple of Shri Rama and a ghat here. Aarti of Kshipra river is performed at 6 pm on the ghats and one can experience a very beautiful atmosphere.

If you are going to Ujjain, definitely buy turmeric Kumkum and Kashi Ashtagandha from here.

After all this, we set off for our return journey.

मी शेगाव येथील त्यांची उत्कृष्ट व्यवस्था पाहिली आहे पण अनुभवली नाही.
मात्र, मी तेथील अल्पोपहार आणि भोजनाचा जरूर लाभ घेतला होता.
